Hi, I’m Tiffani Hastings, PT, DPT.
I founded Invigorate Physical Therapy to help my patients get back to the activities they love, without the hassle of a commute and in the comfort of their home.
I’m a Northern Virginia native with over 13 years of clinical experience in neurologic disorders and orthopedic injuries. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy in Brooklyn, New York at Long Island University, and am proud to be back in Virginia practicing in the same community where I live and raise my family.
As an Arlington mom of three young children and a youth field hockey coach, I can appreciate the importance of wanting to stay strong and active. Whether your goal is to return to running, sport, or a favorite fitness class, I am here to help you get back to the life and the activities you love.
My Evidence-Based Approach
-
Hands-on techniques to improve joint mechanics, soft tissue mobility, and increased blood flow for tissue healing and pain management.
-
Tiffani has received extensive training and education through the Institute of Physical Art, performing PNF, which is a dynamic manual therapy approach combining motor control theory with advanced manual skills to restore movement, improve strength, and optimize neuromuscular function.
-
Tiffani has received extensive training and education on TDN through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments. This specialized treatment technique includes placing a filament needle into the muscle in the region of a trigger point to relieve muscle tension and pain. This is often combined with electrical stimulation for improved healing, blood flow, mobility, and neuromuscular control.
-
The use of specialized tools to increase blood flow to the area to improve myofascial restrictions and increased mobility.
-
Custom exercise plans designed to improve your range of motion, flexibility, balance, and functional strength.
I provide evidence based care to ensure my patients reach their goals and maintain them after being discharged from physical therapy to continue to make gains. My treatment approach utilizes a variety of specialized techniques, including:
